Roomie

Roomie is a real-time, room-based chat application built with React and Firebase. It allows users to join or create specific chat rooms and exchange messages with others in real-time.

Each user can select or enter a room name, and they will only see and participate in conversations within that room. This structure mimics how real-world chat apps like Discord or Slack separate conversations by topic or community. The app uses Firebase Authentication for anonymous sign-in and Firestore to manage and sync messages in real time.
